PINNACLES AND PARROTS

After leaving Monkey Mia I drove down to Kalbarri on the coast. It was a beautiful little seaside village and I am sure a popular holiday spot. I stayed here in the caravan park. In the morning I visited the parrot Breeding Centre just out of town. This was an interesting stop but also allowed me to photograph parrots and a few other birds. It was well worth seeing.

I then drove to visit the Hutt River Province (see the next blog entry) before calling in at Geraldton to buy a new computer……as I had again spilt coffee on mine! The next morning was an early start to view the Pinnacles. This desert of rock formations looked like a moonscape in the early morning light. I then stopped for lunch at a pretty little sea town called Seabird before travelling on to Perth for the night.
